Military

BBC is proud to have a significant portion of the church serving or working in some capacity at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The continual turnover of military personnel adds a steady stream of fresh faces to the BBC family. We recognize the specialized life situations military families have and work hard to minister effectively to military families. For example, if a family member is deployed, that family's small group will keep in touch with the family left behind and offer babysitting, snow removal, etc. anything that we can do to meet the family's needs.

BBC also offers a 'watch-care membership' for military families who are believers. If you already have your membership in a church of like faith, you can join BBC with full rights and privileges as other active members and not move your membership from your home church. This provides opportunities for military families to get involved in ministry quicker. There are also many opportunities to be involved in the life of the church without becoming an official member of BBC.

If you would like to know more about BBC and military families, feel free to attend one of the church gatherings and the pastor or another church member would be glad to share with you and hear about how BBC can minister to your family.

“Being military means change and transition are a part of life.  Beavercreek Baptist welcomed us with open arms and allowed my family and I to transition to a new area…not just a new assignment with the Air Force, but new areas of ministry and service to our Lord.  Knowing our time is always somewhat limited with every move, BBC afforded us a place to call our church home and readily plug-in to community.” Chaplain Col. Ted

"BBC is a military friendly church.  My family and I were treated with tremendous hospitality when we first visited the church.  We were welcomed from Day 1.  BBC's active youth and children's ministries sealed the deal for my family.  I knew we did not have to look anywhere else".  Lt. Col. Chris (Now Retired)
